A new update of Text Me for iPhone (v1.2.1)  is available since a few days. This is definitely a minor release, focusing on stability, but it brings a few new goodies, such as more “incoming message” sounds.

The next update (v1.2.2) will bring a new cool feature, expected by many of you, named “Message Acknowledgment” aka the small green tick next to a message.

Simple and seamless, when this small tick appears, you know for sure your message has been received !

10 Millions

This morning (Paris time) the 10 Millionth Text Me message has been delivered.

It’s an important milestone for us, and we are glad to see that Text Me is now used all over the world and we are commited to improve Text Me from release to release.

Go Text Me, Go !

A new update of Text Me for iPhone (v1.2) has been submitted for review to be available on the App Store.

The main new feature of this update is the support of iOS 4, the next version of the iPhone Operating System that will be available June 24th.

Text Me for iPhone 1.2 will take advantage of the new features brought by iOS 4, such as multi-tasking.

Another important new feature of this release will be the ability to handle device replacement. You should have received a message from the Text Me user yesterday or when you created your account with a secret code. This secret code will be requested of you want to use you nickname on a new device (a brand new iPhone 4 maybe ? ).
